About
Mizlo is the long-running beats project of Miri, a producer and multi-instrumentalist based in London. Keys are her home instrument, with guitar close behind, and her own vocals turn up on a good number of the tracks, which gives them a very personal touch. The catalogue runs from chill jazzy beats and hip hop to soulful house and something close to lo-fi. Her rule: “as long as the chords are soulful and the drums groove”. She has written music since she was small, though lockdown is what turned it into a career. Her tracks have been used in videos with a combined 3.1 billion views on YouTube and 2.8 billion on TikTok, alongside 13 million streams across different streaming platforms.
