About

ROONIN works in drift phonk - the bass-heavy, hypnotic strain of electronic music that took off on TikTok, and which he helped shape. The Swedish producer builds tracks from ethereal textures and rhythms that don't let go, and it has carried a long way: “Back2Back,” his EP with STRLGHT, went viral, and his catalogue now runs across several different names. The music has passed 112 million streams across different streaming platforms, and has soundtracked 11 billion track views on YouTube and 5.8 billion on TikTok, where it's been used in more than 385,000 videos.
