Northside is the solo project of Swedish guitarist, songwriter, and producer Göran Eriksson. Rooted in Americana but never confined by it, Northside blends acoustic craftsmanship, cinematic textures, blues influences, and Scandinavian melancholy into a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. As one half of the husband-and-wife Americana duo Thyra & Magnolia Road, Göran has spent decades writing, recording, and producing music while making regular songwriting trips to Nashville. Those experiences have shaped a style that bridges Swedish storytelling with the spirit of American roots music. Recorded and produced at Blacklake Music Studio, Northside reflects a lifelong passion for authentic musicianship, memorable melodies, and songs with emotions at the core.
