Hara Noda plays jazz with one foot in the classic era and the other in a more contemporary sound. He grew up in southern Sweden and now lives in Gothenburg, where he works as a producer and drummer. The music itself is colourful and easy-going, built to set the temperature of a room rather than command it, American in its roots but unmistakably Nordic in its restraint.
