A funk electric bass line winds around a collage of pulsating Wurlitzer, swelling synth pad, and shuffling drums. A man’s rhythmic, breathy whisper reaches out from this collage and draws you in. You can’t quite make out what he’s saying—and therein lies the song’s spell.
