Like a gentle warm breeze, ""Summer Memories"" brings forward what Gavin Luke excels at. The title track starts off this outing as a solo piano venture, emotional, hopeful and heartfelt. On to the other tracks, a soft string section is introduced to fill out the soundstage, at times helping to create a more cinematic sonic experience. This music has the capability to transport the listener to a place of quietness, where there is time to listen, feel, and reflect.
