“From the Archives Vol. 1” features five self-produced songs that Oakland rapper and producer Tilden Parc has created in the course of the last 3+ years. Nimble, warm, and melodic, Tilden flows over Drake circa “Sooner Than Later”-style vapors, painting vignettes and spilling inner monologues of an unquiet mind, a young man who sees himself as a rose blooming out of concrete, a restless soul caught between his enormous ambition and his pursuit of tranquility.
