Ditlevsen tells us that when composing his new piece "A World Beyond," his goal was to "write something that sounded big and lush and sort of slowly evolving." Consider that box thoroughly ticked! This wonderfully enveloping piece evokes imagery of a myriad of natural landscapes, from great fields to oceans and sunsets. It follows then that Ditlevsen wrote it with nature documentaries in mind.
