Hanna Ekström has recorded and arranged strings on more than 800 songs. The violinist, songwriter and producer comes from Dalarna, has worked full time as a musician since 2009, and has played with many of Sweden's pop artists on stage and in the studio, as well as on a number of film scores. Her own catalogue, much of it written with Anna Dager, sits in contemporary classical: strings that run from dark and suspenseful - “Creeping Anxiety,” “Dark Puzzle” - to sentimental and still, with a handful written for weddings. Her tracks have been used in videos with a combined 17.8 billion views on YouTube and 4.2 billion on TikTok.
