About
In 2006, Kleerup co-wrote a song for Melodifestivalen, ""Aiayeh"", which was performed by Simone Moreno. The song finished in last place in the first semi-final. In 2007, Kleerup was the musical director for the TV show Bingo Royale together with Nisse Edwall and Mona Seilitz, an assignment that ended with him checking into a treatment center for substance abuse problems. Kleerup's solo debut was mainly produced during his time in the treatment center. On the album, Kleerup has borrowed several singers, such as Titiyo, Marit Bergman and Neneh Cherry. Together with Robyn, Kleerup achieved great success with the song With Every Heartbeat, which topped the UK charts, among other things. In Sweden, the single was on the sales list for 54 weeks. Kleerup made one of the remixes of Lady Gaga's hit song ""Alejandro"" in 2009. Kleerup was also a member of the music group The Meat Boys[11] and he wrote and produced ""Lay Me Down"" for Cyndi Lauper in 2008. Kleerup also has his own band, Me and My Army, which released their debut album Thank God For Sending Demons, which was met with good reviews by Jan Gradvall. They toured as an opening act for Teenage Fanclub and Glasvegas, and performed a version of Benny Andersson's ""Klinga Mina Klockor"" as guests of Kalle Moraeus. In February 2013, Kleerup released the song ""Requiem Solution"". The song is a collaboration with Loreen and premiered at the Grammisgalan at Cirkus in Stockholm. On 5 September 2014, Kleerup released the single ""Let Me In"" with Susanne Sundfør. The song is included on the mini-album As If We Never Won. ""Let Me In"" was featured in a commercial directed by Jonas Åkerlund for the clothing chain H&M. In 2015, he participated in TV4's program Så mycket bättre. A multitude of singles and projects has been releases since then.
