About
Evergreen is a Contemporary Christian music duo made up of the married couple Steve and Christian Lee. Both were raised in the church, and their faith has always been the foundation of their lives and their music. After getting married, they quickly discovered not only a shared calling, but a natural gift for writing songs together. Steve grew up as the son of a music minister, which gave him a love for Spirit-led music from an early age. An accomplished composer of kids and non-kids music, he is a two-time Mid-America Emmy Award winner for music composition through his work with PBS and has also written music featured in national advertising campaigns, including projects for TikTok and Holiday Inn. Christian is a gifted pianist & singer, bringing heart, warmth, and musical depth to the duo’s sound & lyrics. Together as Evergreen, they are led by the Spirit to create music that points people toward our Creator’s love, hope, and faithfulness, writing songs meant to encourage, uplift, and remind listeners that through God’s grace, life is evergreen.
