On our mission to soundtrack the world, we’ve had the pleasure of teaming up with talented artists both big and small.
Our mentorship program, The Bridge, combines curiosity and creativity. It celebrates the ever-evolving nature of music, where our legendary mentors’ influence helps shape our emerging artists’ future output.
Through a mix of group sessions and one-on-one time, our celebrated mentors provide mentees with invaluable track feedback, artistic advice, and career guidance for an increasingly complex music industry.
The Bridge culminates in the release of brand-new music from Epidemic Sound’s up-and-coming artists, alongside expertly curated playlists from our headline mentors.
Co-founder, co-songwriter, and guitarist of the genre-defining indie-rock band The Smiths, Johnny Marr is not only one of the most influential musicians in popular music — he’s also the latest artist to join The Bridge as a mentor to the next generation.
Marr has taken three emerging artists under his all-knowing creative wing: Rebecca Mardal, Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen, and Kylie Dailey. Both in-person and remotely, he’ll tutor and guide them with industry insight, creative tips, and more priceless advice.
Try not to be too jealous, though. He’s answered your burning questions and left 10 Johnny Marr-certified tips over on our blog — like if Santa were from Manchester and knew a lot about music.
At Epidemic Sound, we work hard to create a supportive and collaborative space where our artists can truly shine — an environment where they can grow musically, professionally, and personally.
Epidemic Sound works with talented musicians every day — that’s kind of our whole thing. We’re proud of our unique and unrivaled offering, which allows our artists to not just make a living doing what they love, but thrive creatively and personally.
