Dillon Knighton is a trained drummer and multi-instrumentalist from the Washington, D.C. suburbs. He fell in love with drums at age 10 and became obsessed with music production as a teenager. His influences span the crushing weight of Buster Odeholm’s projects (Vildhjarta, Thrown, Humanity’s Last Breath) to the melodic sensibilities of experimental indie artists such as Jakub Zytecki. Dillon’s focus on sound design, texture, and atmosphere shapes compositions that are immersive, powerful, and meticulously detailed, while his drumming background provides a grounded rhythmic foundation. He currently resides in Northern Virginia, balancing his music production with a career as a critical care nurse.
