About
David Åström is a skilled producer from Boden in Sweden. He fell in love with music when he was 12 years old, first time with Oasis, and later on when he discovered Gang Starr. After that, he started experimenting with sample-based 90’s hip-hop and realized it came naturally to him. Today he works as a producer in Stockholm doing what he likes most. Chaxti has a unique style where ambient meet different genres and elements. The music is characterized by long melodies and structures from classical music, meanwhile, drums are picked up from anything between hip-hop and rock. Chaxti creates a story of adventure with his colorful, yet soft and relaxing tunes.
