'Gentle Heroics' is about melody, harmony, and texture. There’s patience and focus to each piece, as Trevor's fluid technique is undiminished in finding brilliant patterns to stitch together and thus elevate it. When the strings in 'Resilient' hit a crescendo, it’s earth-shaking, bringing to mind the feeling of awakening, as if something that was unclear is now understood, there to be rediscovered with each cycle.
