Eyes of My Mother

"This album is an expression of how grateful I am for my Mother and her unconditional love. She was raised in a city in the south of Iran named "Abadan,'' which is known for its heavy influence of African music and culture due to slavery. Thanks to her, I have a profound understanding of rhythmical instruments, which is a big influence in every song I produce. Expressing gratitude to our parents can at times be difficult and since music has always been my first language I chose to produce and name this album in her honor. The loving and caring feeling you get from your mother is one of a kind and cannot be expressed in words, hence the name "Eyes of my Mother." - HATAMITSUNAMI
