Kylie Dailey says about the EP's title track 'Divine Potion', ""It came about thinking on the moments that rattle us and show us our actual selfs. The terror and hope of falling in love, the devastation of losing someone close, watching your child interact with other kids for the first time. All the niceties and comforts and walls are down. The moments that are intertwined with deep love and pain at the same time. It’s a mystery to me how both feelings can be so close, and how they bring our individual nature to the front whether we like it or not. They knock us right off our horse, and into a new way of getting around. In the song, I call it ‘really livin’.""
