“The story behind the song ‘Cincinnati’ comes from an expression invented by a friend of mine. Sometimes when we have a drink together, he’ll say - “F this place, I’m outta here. Who wants to come to Cincinnati?” When I ask, “why Cincinnati?”, he always has a different reason. Sometimes it’s “the beer there is amazing there”, or “They have way better stores than us”. Or even “The streets are so clean”! He’s never been there (I think?), but I think it’s a kinda charming and funny thing he does. So this song is for him” - Michael, Loving Caliber
