On “CARTEL,” producers BLUE STEEL and Dylan Sitts mix trap with the boogaloo that poured out of bodegas, barbershops, and Lincoln Continentals in New York City’s Latino barrios in the 1960s. STEEL and Sitts produced these two tracks at an Epidemic Sound songwriting camp in 2022.
