William Benckert-Claesson is a Swedish pianist and music producer with a background in Jazz and Electronic Music. With an open mind he has composed tunes for various video games, podcasts and youtube videos seen by millions. He has also collaborated with a number of exciting artists in the field of jazz influenced electronic music. As ’William Claeson’ he channels his ”film composer-self” putting a personal touch on various well-established genres. With releases ranging from Neo-Classical to 80s Electro to Traditional Jazz he puts a special focus on making it sound right for film. This stands in contrast to his other page ’William Benckert’ where he often has a more experimental approach. As William Claeson he aims to make the listener feel at home and familiar, while channeling the musical emotions through to them.
