Drift far Away is an ambient project by musician Johan Hynynen, focusing on floating and relaxing sounds. Coming from a musical family encouraging him to play music, Johan has a broad musical background – having played keyboard, drums, and percussion in his youth and then studying jazz guitar after high school, an interest that later grew into a curiosity for writing and producing music for TV productions. Johans list of artists who influenced him over the years is just as versatile as his own musical background; including Bob Marley, Chick Corea, Santana och Miles Davis. Johans main sources of inspiration for writing music comes from spending time in cafes and clubs, watching TV and trying to learn as much as possible about different music genres and talented musicians. After spending some time living in Greece, Johan is now back in his hometown Karlstad, working full time as a musician.
