Can I use non copyrighted music for Twitch?

Is royalty-free music free to use on Twitch?

How can I play music in my Twitch streams?
Epidemic Sound makes it super easy! You can either create a playlist of your favorite music in our player or use one of our Spotify playlists if you prefer! During your streams, just select your Spotify/Epidemic Sound tab as an audio output through OBS studio (or any other streaming software you use) and just press play!

How to check if your music is copyrighted for Twitch?
As of today, there is no tool that allows you to check if the music that you want to use is free-to-use on Twitch or not. For this reason, it is best to assume that every song you want to use IS indeed protected by copyright (see the previous question about “Can Twitch ban you for playing music?”).
