How to install the desktop app for Windows
1. Download
Download the Epidemic Sound desktop app.
2. Install
Open Epidemic Sound.exe from your Downloads folder, and double-click the file to launch the installer.
3. Launch
Open the desktop app from the start menu.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get started with the Epidemic Sound app?
Once you’ve launched the desktop app, just follow the steps to authenticate through your web browser. Keep in mind that you’ll need an active Epidemic Sound subscription to start downloading music, sound effects and voiceovers.
Where do my downloads go, and can I choose a different download location?
By default, your tracks are saved to your local Documents folder. To change this, click the menu icon (three horizontal bars) in the top right corner, select Settings, and choose a different download destination.
Can I drag and drop music onto my timeline?
Yes! After clicking the download icon (the downward arrow) to download a track, simply drag and drop the file directly onto your video editor’s timeline.
How do I generate and add voiceovers?
Head over to the Voices tab and pick a voice artist. Type your script into the text field and hit Create voiceover. When you’re happy with the voiceover, click the download icon to save the file, then simply drag and drop it into your editor's timeline.
