How do I know which version to download — Apple silicon or Intel?

Apple silicon and Intel refer to the types of processors in Mac computers. In certain models from late 2020, Apple began transitioning from Intel processors to Apple silicon processors, often named M1, M2, etc. Learn how to check which processor you have.

How do I log in to the Epidemic Sound desktop app?

After you download and open the desktop app, follow the on-screen instructions to log in via browser. To download tracks with the desktop app, an active Epidemic Sound subscription is required.

Where are my downloaded tracks stored, and can I change the download location?

Files are stored by default in your documents folder. You can change the download location in your app settings, found under the three horizontal bars in the top right corner.

How do I add music in my editor?

When you find an Epidemic Sound song that you like, select the downward arrow to download the track to your selected folder. Then drag and drop the song file to your timeline in your editor.

How do I add voiceovers in my editor?

Select the Voices tab and choose a voice artist. Enter your voiceover script in the text box and select “Create voiceover.” When you’re happy with the voiceover, select the downward arrow to download the file to your selected folder. Then drag and drop the voiceover file to your timeline in your editor.

Are there any other Epidemic Sound apps or plugins available?
