Swedish electronic producer Far Orange has created another deep house gem in “Woodbrain.” Syncopated marimba theme and synth stabs swirl to hypnotic and danceable effect. The track builds at slow, tantalizing rate, before resetting with what MC Grindah would call a mid-track reload. Here, Far Orange leaves the dancer to sway in a cosmic haze of synths before putting them back on solid ground by bringing the drums and roaring back.
