Iso Indies’ “Between Love and Hate” is a story of heartache. On his remix, producer Dylan Sitts adds new flourishes while staying true to the song’s bittersweet spirit. “I tried to maintain the melancholic feeling of the original while still making the track feel new,” Sitts says. “I made the drums a bit more sloppy and off-kilter, and I added a deep, growling bass, synths drenched in reverb, and a forlorn vocal sample to make the remix stand on its own.”
