Stockholm, Sweden – Epidemic Sound, the market-leading platform for restriction-free music, announces the launch of ‘Behind the Sound’, a five-part YouTube series that will see music and content creators unite to shine a light on the passion, motivation, and musical journey of five Epidemic Sound artists.

The series features the Epidemic Sound artists Torii WolfAlex KehmLawd ItoDajana Lööf and grammy-winning, Ebo Krdum, diving deeper into their journeys as music creators. Episodes will drop on Wednesdays for the following five weeks and each will be hosted by a content creator, such as Vuhlandes and That Icelandic Guy.

In the first episode, out now, the company has brought together the LA-based singer-songwriter, Torii Wolf, and YouTuber and photographer, Vuhlandes. The episode follows Torii’s journey from an eight year old, self proclaimed ‘bashful, quiet drummer’ to the singer-songwriter who ‘moved to the front’.

It covers everything from artistic inspiration to a chance connection with Epidemic Sound, where Torii now collaborates creatively and benefits from a unique remuneration model that offers upfront payments of between $1200-$6000 per track, a 5050 split of streaming royalties as well as a portion of a $2million soundtrack bonus.

“It is truly humbling to see how our artists work, hear the unique stories of inspiration and be in a front row seat to watch them grow as musicians,” commented Niklas Brantberg, Chief of Music at Epidemic Sound. “We’re incredibly proud of our music creators and we’re thrilled to showcase just five of their journeys through ‘Behind the Sound’.”
